How you'll contribute
A Registered Nurse (RN)who excels in this role:
Works in collaboration with the nurses and exercise physiologists in the CardioPulmonary Rehabilitation program to care for patients with recent cardiac or pulmonary events.
Assisting with the patient process flows, such as cardiac telemetry monitoring, vital signs, patient education, patient assessment, maintaining exercise prescriptions for the patient, setting exercise machines, etc
Assists in cleaning/sanitizing/maintaining equipment. Attends in-services as required for position.
Assists in maintaining logs as needed.

What we're looking for
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required within one month of hire, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 1 year of hire, and Handle with Care required within 30 days of orientation
Education: Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Licenses: Must have a current Kentucky or compact state RN license.
