Responsibilities
- Diagnose hardware and software issues on mobile devices including Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows operating systems.
- Perform repairs on smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other electronic devices using hand tools and soldering techniques when necessary.
- Disassemble and reassemble devices carefully following schematics and technical manuals to ensure proper functionality post-repair.
- Troubleshoot software problems related to operating systems, applications, or firmware to restore optimal device performance.
- Utilize analysis skills to identify root causes of device failures and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings for each device.
- Provide technical support to customers in person or via field service visits, explaining repair processes and device care tips.
Requirements
- Proven experience repairing mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, or laptops with a strong understanding of hardware components. Or A Strong Willingness To Learn.
- Proficiency with operating systems including Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, and related software troubleshooting.
- Skilled in using hand tools for delicate electronic repairs.
- Knowledge of computer hardware components and the ability to interpret schematics for troubleshooting complex issues.
- Excellent analysis skills to diagnose problems accurately and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills for providing clear technical support and instructions to customers.
- Retail sales experience is a plus but not required; a passion for technology is essential.
