We are seeking an ambitious and experienced individual to join our team as a Job Site Supervisor. Here, you'll manage the day-to-day activities on the jobsite, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in project execution. This role involves coordinating with the Project Manager, assigning tasks to internal team members, overseeing subcontractors, and providing installation updates.

THE ROLE
- CONSTRUCTION & INSTALLATION OVERSIGHT: Manage daily jobsite operations to ensure progress aligns with the project schedule. Lead morning meetings, assign tasks, and track progress throughout the day. Provide guidance and adjust assignments to meet milestones. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite, including proper storage and waste management. Secure the site daily to prevent damage or theft. Resolve minor on-site issues and escalate larger concerns to the Project Manager, offering solutions and collaborating on corrective actions.
- SUBCONTRACTOR COORDINATION: Schedule and brief subcontractors via Buildertrend, ensuring alignment on tasks, safety, and expectations. Monitor work quality, address issues, and document performance and concerns for the Project Manager.
- SAFETY & COMPLIANCE: Conduct daily safety checks, lead toolbox talks, and enforce PPE and protocols. Document and resolve safety issues promptly in Buildertrend.
- QUALITY CONTROL: Inspect completed work to ensure it meets standards. Log findings and corrective actions in Buildertrend and support the Project Manager with periodic quality reviews.
- TEAM COMMUNICATION Maintain accurate Buildertrend logs, including photos, safety checks, and progress notes. Communicate daily updates, labor/material needs, and escalate issues as needed. Share client updates when requested.
- INVENTORY MANAGEMENT: Track on-site inventory and update the "Things to Buy" list in Buildertrend. Coordinate timely purchases, and ensure proper material handling and storage to reduce waste and delays.
THE NEEDED SKILLS
- KNOWLEDGE: Consistent work history and hard work ethic. Prior experience as a Crew Leader, Construction Superintendent, Carpenter, Finish Carpenter, Lead Framer, or similar role preferred. Awareness of workplace safety standards and practices, including PPE and tool maintenance.
- SKILLS: Monitor site organization and cleanliness to company standards. Ability to learn Buildertrend software to document site progress. Address complex challenges such as structural corrections and tight deadlines.Accurate measuring, cutting, and assembly skills. Ability to operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and effectively (saws, sanders, routers, etc.). Adaptability to changing tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Follow detailed instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- ABILITY: Lift and move materials and finished products (up to 50 lbs) safely and consistently. Must be available for 16 hours of emergency snow removal each winter. Valid driver's license and the ability to pass a driving check (motor vehicle record) and felony/misdemeanor background check.
