We are seeking an ambitious and experienced individual to join our team as a Carpenter. Here, you'll apply your hands-on carpentry skills, help lead our carpentry team on jobsites, and ensure we achieve our high-quality standards while meeting deadlines.

THE ROLE
- Cabinet Installation: Perform skilled carpentry work including framing, finishing, and installation according to plans and codes. Ensure high-quality craftsmanship, address field issues promptly, and maintain attention to detail in all work.
- Jobsite Oversight: Collaborate with the Site Supervisor to align work with the project schedule, adjust plans as needed, and coordinate effectively with other trades.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, ensure proper PPE and tool use, and promote a safe working environment. Manage tools and materials efficiently, track inventory, and report repair or purchase needs to avoid delays.
- Communication & Problem Solving: Maintain project records in Buildertrend, including progress notes, photos, and material needs. Communicate proactively about challenges or design adjustments and contribute to creative problem-solving on-site.
THE NEEDED SKILLS
- KNOWLEDGE: Consistent work history and hard work ethic. Prior experience as a Crew Leader, Construction Carpenter, Finish Carpenter, Framer, or similar role preferred. Awareness of workplace safety standards and practices, including PPE and tool maintenance.
- SKILLS: Monitor site organization and cleanliness to company standards. Ability to learn Buildertrend software to document site progress. Address complex challenges such as structural corrections and tight deadlines.Accurate measuring, cutting, and assembly skills. Ability to operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and effectively (saws, sanders, routers, etc.). Adaptability to changing tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Follow detailed instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- ABILITY: Lift and move materials and finished products (up to 50 lbs) safely and consistently. Must be available for 16 hours of emergency snow removal each winter. Valid driver's license and the ability to pass a driving check (motor vehicle record) and felony/misdemeanor background check.
