Meadowbrook Family Dental is a established and privately-owned general dentistry practice in Elk Grove, CA. We offer a broad scope of general and restorative services and serve a diverse, loyal patient base of 40–45 new patients per month.
We're seeking an experienced, patient-centered associate dentist to cover a maternity leave on a part-time basis — Mondays and Tuesdays only. This is a great fit for a dentist looking for consistent part-time work in a supportive, well-run practice with a strong clinical team already in place.
Duties
- Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and restorations with precision and care.
- Provide specialized treatments such as root canal therapy, crown & bridge, endodontics (at least anteriors and premolars), and oral surgery as needed.
- Assess patient needs through thorough examinations and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical and dental records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies.
- Utilize Open Dental software for scheduling, documentation, and treatment planning.
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed using aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to optimize patient comfort and procedure efficiency.
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
- Active California dental license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
- Strong general and restorative skills
- Excellent chairside manner and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while integrating seamlessly with an established team
