Our client, a global leader in industrial logistics solutions, is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to drive business growth and develop strategic customer relationships within the chemical, food, and industrial manufacturing sectors.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven sales professional who enjoys developing new business, growing key accounts, and delivering customized supply chain and logistics solutions.
What You'll Do
- Develop and grow new business opportunities throughout the Houston/Gulf Coast market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
- Manage and expand existing accounts while identifying new revenue opportunities.
- Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and close business.
- Partner with operational teams to ensure exceptional customer service and execution.
- Meet and exceed sales and growth objectives.
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of successful B2B sales experience.
- Strong business development and account management skills.
- Experience selling into the chemical, food manufacturing, food ingredient, specialty chemical, or industrial distribution markets.
- Proven ability to build relationships, negotiate effectively, and close business.
- Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
Highly Preferred Experience
- Chemical manufacturing or chemical distribution
- Food manufacturing or food ingredient industries
- Industrial logistics and supply chain solutions
- Bulk liquid transportation
- Tank container operations
- Industrial packaging
Major Plus
Experience with Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs), stainless steel IBCs, reusable packaging, tank containers, or bulk liquid logistics is highly desirable and will set candidates apart.
