Registered Nurse (RN) – PRN Night Shift
Location: Meade District Hospital, Meade, KS
Schedule: PRN | Night Shift
Flexible Self-Scheduling | 1–2 Shifts/Month Required

We are seeking a dependable PRN RN to support our night shift team. This position provides direct patient care, assists providers, and helps ensure a positive patient experience. Occasional charge nurse duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program; must have passed NCLEX
-
Current Kansas RN license

Current ACLS, PALS, TNCC (or willingness to renew within 3 months)

CPR certification every 2 years

Meets continuing education requirements for licensure
Responsibilities

Provide quality, patient-centered care

Follow policies, safety practices, and infection control standards

Monitor and report patient condition changes

Assist providers with exams and procedures

Complete accurate patient documentation

Administer medications
-
Perform thorough patient assessments
-
Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and IAs as needed

Maintain patient confidentiality

Attend required trainings
- Perform other duties as assigned
