Key Responsibilities
- Accurately place pre-cut wood components onto jigs in accordance with wall panel and door design specifications.
- Assemble components using staple guns, air nail guns, and other required tools.
- Operate power saws and other equipment to prepare materials for assembly.
- Measure and verify dimensions to ensure accuracy and quality of finished products.
- Install metal connector plates at joints per design requirements.
- Work on a door pre-hanging assembly line while maintaining expected production pace.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic upkeep on tools and equipment.
- Safely operate a forklift to move materials to appropriate areas of the shop.
- Pick and pull production materials as needed to support workflow.
- Load, unload, store, and package materials as required.
- Move completed products to the packaging/shipping area of the production line.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to read or learn to read a tape measure accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate or learn to operate a forklift.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
