This role will sit in North Dakota.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning, designing, and directing engineering projects
- Mentor others in the transportation market in North Dakota
- Promote the reputation of the company and increase business by being widely recognized outside the company as a technical expert
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously for NDDOT
- Review invoicing and personnel assignments
- Negotiate contracts for both prime and sub roles
Some travel, as well as a valid driver's license and clean driving record will be required.
The successful candidate will have all of the following:
- A bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil engineering
- 8 years of relevant work experience
- A PE license in North Dakota or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:
- NDOT experience
- Rural and urban roadway design and interchanges
- Designing roundabouts or diverging diamond intersections
- Previous experience marketing and attracting clients to win work for the company
