Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Computer Programmer and Website Designer to develop, enhance, and maintain dynamic websites that deliver exceptional user experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of web development, visual design, and interaction principles, combined with proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies. Duties

• Design visually compelling and user-friendly websites utilizing advanced skills in web design, UI/UX design, and graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe XD.
• Develop responsive websites employing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React, Bootstrap, and other front-end frameworks to ensure seamless functionality across devices.
• Implement interactive features using AJAX, Node.js, Redux, PHP, and MySQL to enhance user engagement and functionality.
• Optimize website performance through SEO best practices and web analytics tools like Google Analytics 360 and Adobe Analytics to improve visibility and user retention.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to refine interface designs and improve overall user experience while maintaining accessibility standards in interaction design.
• Manage website content using content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, or SharePoint; perform regular website maintenance to ensure security and functionality.
• Create prototypes with tools like Axure or InVision to visualize concepts before development; utilize wireframing techniques for layout planning.
• Ensure compliance with web accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability principles to accommodate diverse user needs.
• Collaborate with digital marketing teams to implement email marketing campaigns and digital advertising strategies that align with website content.

Experience

• Proven experience in web development with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, and front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Demonstrated proficiency in digital design including interaction design, motion graphics (Adobe After Effects), typography for media, visual UI/UX design, and graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite).
• Experience designing responsive websites optimized for mobile devices using responsive web design techniques.
• Familiarity with website management tools such as WordPress, Drupal, or SharePoint; experience in website production and content management systems is essential.
• Knowledge of data analysis skills utilizing web analytics tools like Google Analytics 360 or Adobe Analytics to inform design decisions.
• Ability to create prototypes using Balsamiq or Figma; skilled in wireframing layouts for effective information architecture.
• Experience working with version control systems such as Git; understanding of accessibility in interaction design principles is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills combined with the ability to analyze user behavior data for continuous improvement of digital interfaces.
