Now Hiring: On-Site HR Support Specialist (Weekend Shift) – Matteson, IL
MDMartin LLC is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) On-Site HR Support Specialist to support workforce operations at a client facility in Matteson, IL. This is a hands-on, on-site role serving as the key link between employees, client leadership, and corporate HR.

Location: Matteson, IL (On-site)
Schedule: Full-time | Weekend Coverage Required
- Friday: 10:00 AM – 12:00 AM (14 hours)
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 12:00 AM (14 hours)
- Sunday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM (12 hours)
- Total: 40 hours/week
Note: Schedule flexibility may be considered, but weekend availability is required. This role is fully focused on on-site HR support and will not include recruiting responsibilities.
Pay: $18.50/hour $1.50/hour weekend differential ($20.00/hour effective rate)
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor attendance and staffing in real time to ensure full shift coverage
- Audit and reconcile timecards to support accurate payroll processing
- Track attendance, absences, and turnover using Excel reporting
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations issues and workplace concerns
- Support safety compliance, including PPE distribution and adherence to OSHA standards
- Assist with on-site hiring coordination (interviews, onboarding logistics)
- Lead new hire onboarding and safety orientations
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in HR, operations, or a supervisory/administrative role (warehouse or manufacturing preferred)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
- Intermediate Excel skills (data tracking, reporting, basic formulas)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Reliable, organized, and able to commit to a consistent weekend schedule
This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth daily operations while supporting both employees and leadership on-site.
