The Coordinator, Logistics at Maytag Dairy Farms is responsible for ensuring accuracy with shipping & receiving functions. This role will help coordinate procurement of materials, track inventory, ensure accurate recordkeeping and adhere to all strict quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Operate safely and appropriately in all AgCertain situations and environments
- Demonstrate a proficient and continuously increasing understanding of product lines, including both retail and wholesale
- Be proficient in using Business Central for inventory tracking and sales operations
- Display proficiency accessing documents via SharePoint and be able to complete data entry using Microsoft Excel
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking and ordering of necessary raw materials and supplies
- Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies
- Process and fulfill orders accurately and according to schedule
- Properly package products and prepare products for shipping in accordance with all relevant regulations and shipping industry standards
- Assist with loading/unloading trucks, coordinating with carriers, and communicating with customers in accordance with company standards
- Inspect incoming packaging materials, ingredients, and processing aides
- Ensure that records are accurate and completed in a timely manner
- Assist with the training of new logistics team members
- Identify non-conforming products and be able to initiate the hold process
- Follow all written procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
- Foster a positive and collaborative team atmosphere, encouraging open communication and a commitment to quality
- Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Undergo Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) training and be able to comply with Occupational Safety policies and GMPs in the production process; perform sanitation duties in accordance with SOPs, Food Safety and GMP compliance
- Participate in all company trainings
- Perform all other duties as assigned

An Associate’s Degree in Supply Chain or a related field; Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Physical abilities to include the ability to lift 75 lbs (34 Kg), ability to spend 8 hours on feet and/or standing in place
