MDC has more than 65 outside sales representatives, as well as additional sales support, reporting to four regional offices. The company’s sales efforts extend further through a worldwide distribution network. A staff of approximately 70 associates are in MDC’s corporate headquarters.
Job Summary: The Warehouse and Facility Lead will ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and supporting operational goals. They will also be responsible for maintenance, repair, and safety of the facilities. Planning, coordination, and strategy development for ensuring the long-term improvement of the facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
- Support manager and warehouse team and supervise the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency.
- Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary.
- Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages
- Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory, and shipping methods
- Supervise maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment
- Develop and implement a facility management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements while conducting regular facility inspection.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Preferred:
- Understanding of overall business process including quotation, sales, purchasing and logistics.
- Customer service orientated
- Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- License to operate forklift
- Two or more years of experience in a warehouse role supervising hourly employees preferred
- Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff
- Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs consistently
- Intermediate Computer Skills
Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
