Responsibilities
- The Association Management System owner and point person for responding to member and staff requests troubleshooting data records, running complex reports, and training in event registrations on the Console and Portal (5%).
- Monitor system performance and identify problems that arise on the AMS and Website tools (4%).
- Analyze and evaluate potential IT systems to suit the association's and its members' needs (1%).
- Communicate technical information with nontechnical staff, members, and vendors (2%).
- Provide technical training to the marketing department on website applications (2%).
- Attend quarterly meetings with MemberSuite to collaborate on projects to ensure the association goals are met (1%).
- Liaison of communication with AMS providers to ensure third-party systems integrate properly and benefit the association (2%).
- Continue to plan, test and improve the MemberSuite Portal interface to the AMS and API's (3%).
- Oversee the association Management System data, by stablishing data entry guidelines to meet IWLA standards. This also require training end-users (5%). Develop, update, and run customized reports for staff and committee members leaders (3%).
- Troubleshoot event registrations in the AMS for IWLA meetings assigned (3%). Oversee the new member process recording in the database, find a warehouse and registration system within 24 hours from receiving it.
- Develop reports for the staff and trains them to run them consistently (2%). Ongoing maintenance coding on local pages for "members only" documents as part of their association benefits (2%).
- Build live reports related to the association's annual Convention and Expo, to use as a measurement tool to view how the association is doing year-to year (1%).
- Coordinate and implement membership dues billing located in the AMS console and portal (3%).
- Work with the memberships department to create solutions, getting dues and other income data in a quick and efficient manner (3%).
- Understand the membership management aspect and how the AMS ties into the Association's mission (3%).
- Build IWLA.com and findawarehouse.org and provide support to both websites (7%). Keep up with Wordpress (IWLA.com) updates and templates change (4%).
- Provide training to Marketing department on how to use Wordpress tool and plugins (3%).
- Updating findawarehouse.org code using C# language (6%). Updating findawarehouse.org design using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (4%). Upgrading findawarehouse.org design using "Figma.com" tool (3%).
- Keeping GoDaddy (IWLA Plesk admin) server running and up to date (3%).
- Working with "Godaddy.com on updating server errors if needed (2%).
- Work with third-party IT provider to ensure security and privacy of networks and computers systems (3%).
- Develop and manage staff and vendor hardware/Software tracker with every purchase (1%).
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problem (repair and replace parts, debugging, etc.) (1%). Provide changes and improvements for maintaining and protecting the association systems against threats and unauthorized users (2%).
- Provide management with guidance on Information Technology Decisions for selecting and purchasing software and hardware for the association (2%).
- Set up workstations with computer and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers, etc.) (1%).
- Periodically check computer hardware and servers to ensure they are functioning well, with obtain and apply software licenses – Microsoft 365, Adobe, Visual Studio, and WordPress (2%).
- Design and build internal PC’s and servers (1%).
- Work with management on annual budgets for IT goals and objectives for the association (3%).
- Collaborate with third party in selecting and registering domain names for the association (2%).
- Analyze and evaluate potential IT systems to suit the needs of the association and its members (1%).
- Maintain knowledge and expertise in Information Technology, Database Design & Development; participate in professional conferences and workshops (4%).
- **Remote work permitted from residence within the same MSA; and Domestic Travel once a year for IWLA Annual Convention & Expo Conference.**
Requirements:
- This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, or foreign equivalent and 5 years of relevant IT experience as trainee, computer analyst, or a related computer professional position; or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, or foreign equivalent and 3 years of relevant IT experience as trainee, computer analyst, or a related computer professional position.
This position also requires:
- 3 years of experience Full-Stack Web Development for both front and back end development, including coding for HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, XML, C# and .Net.
- 3 years of experience in designing and maintaining complex real-time dashboards and reports for leadership and evet performance tracking.
- 3 years of experience with Trade Association Website Management, including wordpress and Figma based design upgrades, updates and maintenance of Custom Find Warehouse Application.
- 3 years of experience in managing internal servers workstations and network security.
- 3 years of experience with vendor and domain oversight.
- 3 years of experience managing Association Management systems for a trade association, including custom workflows, data standards and reporting.
- 3 years of experience with annual IT budgeting and purchasing.
- 3 years of experience with multi-phase IT initiatives, including Association Management System upgrades integrations and system migrations.
- 3 years of experience providing technical training and documentation for non-technical staff, ensuring smooth adoption of tools and systems.
- Trade Association experience supporting cross departmental team objectives, including member dues and finance, marketing, event registration software.
- Experience with Trade Association tech infrastructure, problem solving and strategic planning. **Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, and experience.**
