Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Network Technician to support large-scale network integration, device configuration, and deployment within an enterprise environment. You will work closely with engineering teams and project stakeholders to stage, configure, and validate networking equipment while ensuring all implementations align with design specifications.
Core Responsibilities:
- Configure, stage, and validate networking, wireless, and collaboration devices for deployment.
- Translate technical requirements into clear build instructions, implementation documentation, and integration workbooks.
- Execute technology integrations in accordance with established design specifications and procedures.
- Support the full project lifecycle from initial kickoff through final delivery.
- Assist engineering teams in estimating technical efforts and identifying deployment requirements.
- Perform quality assurance checks throughout the build process to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Review hardware compatibility requirements, including rack space, power, cooling, and installation standards.
- Maintain documentation, work instructions, and visual aids while contributing to process improvements.
- Communicate project status, potential risks, and technical issues to internal stakeholders.
- Two or more years of professional experience supporting network infrastructure, integration, deployment, or data center operations.
- Practical experience configuring and deploying network hardware, including routers, switches, wireless access points, and collaboration technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Native or bilingual proficiency in the English language.
- Experience interpreting rack elevations, network diagrams, cable run lists, and infrastructure schematics.
- Knowledge of structured cabling standards, data center power/cooling requirements, and rack installation.
- Familiarity with LAN/WAN networking concepts, enterprise network architectures, and server hardware platforms.
- Exposure to VMware vSphere environments.
- Experience with Cisco Unified Communications technologies, such as CUCM, SIP, and H.323.
- Professional certifications such as CCNP or equivalent networking experience.
