Job Description:
MD Lawn Care and Landscaping is looking for a reliable and experienced Crew Leader to manage a lawn care and landscaping crew. This position is responsible for leading daily operations in the field, ensuring high-quality work, and maintaining efficiency and professionalism on every job site.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a 2–3 person crew on lawn care and landscaping jobs
- Perform services including mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, cleanups, and basic landscaping installs
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards
- Operate and maintain equipment (zero-turn mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
- Train and guide crew members on proper techniques and safety procedures
- Communicate with clients professionally when needed
- Load/unload equipment and ensure trucks/trailers are organized
- Complete jobs efficiently and stay on schedule
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in lawn care and/or landscaping
- Previous leadership or crew lead experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of mowing patterns, trimming, edging, and general landscaping practices
- Ability to operate commercial landscaping equipment
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Ability to drive truck and trailer (preferred)
- Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
Pay: $24.00 per hour
