Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC, a world class supplier of power generation services, parts and repairs, has an immediate opening for a qualified individual who has a desire to join a growing organization and an appetite for diverse and technically challenging work.
The candidate will weld parts to spec by PTA or a manual welding process via, TIG or SMAW. Perform minor repair or maintenance procedures to shop equipment, deburr parts as needed, stock prep, assemble parts as required. Keeps an organized record of all weld processes and procedures. Plan workload to align with stress relief and other process.
Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm, with overtime on Saturday if needed

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to, the following:
- Know all aspects of PTA welding
- Use various weld process to weld parts to print
- Understand welding practices and theory
- Deburr parts with various hand tools
- Assemble valve components using liquid nitrogen
- Maintain stress relief, and stock prep
- Maintain welding equipment and shop machines
- Responsible for ordering glasses and welding consumables
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to foresee changes relevant to area of responsibility
- Ability to organize work assignments to ensure efficient operations within the area
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner to achieve intended objective
- Ability to read and use measuring tools, calipers, tapes and, weld gauges
- Good organizational skills
- Understanding of lean and 6S safety in a manufacturing environment
- Basic computer skills
- Stellite welding experience preferred
- Plasma Transferred Arc Welding experience preferred
