This position manages the full-cycle recruiting process—from sourcing and screening to onboarding—primarily for personal chefs, in-home chefs, and event chefs. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and skilled at balancing multiple searches while providing a stellar candidate experience aligned with DTEC’s high service standards.

What You’ll Do
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for culinary and support roles, including postings, sourcing, interviews, reference checks, and offers.
- Build and maintain pipelines of high-quality candidates across multiple markets.
- Partner with hiring managers and operations staff to understand role requirements and identify ideal fits.
- Utilize our applicant tracking system and maintain accurate candidate communication and documentation.
- Conduct phone screens, schedule interviews, and guide candidates through each stage of the process.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while providing an exceptional candidate experience.
- Support onboarding by coordinating documentation, conducting virtual orientation, and HR setup.
- Track and report key recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, offer acceptance, and 90-day retention.
- Collaborate with leadership to strengthen our recruiting strategy, sourcing methods, and employer branding.
- Network with culinary schools, professional organizations, and industry events to identify potential talent.
- 3–5 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience; hospitality or culinary industry experience preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organization and time-management abilities—able to juggle multiple requisitions at once.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Meet) and applicant tracking systems (CareerPlug preferred).
- Ability to evaluate candidate qualifications and culture fit.
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Communications, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
- Recruiting certifications (LinkedIn Talent Solutions, AIRS, etc.) a plus.
- Pay Range: $28-30/hour DOE
- Schedule: Part-time, 15–20 hours/week (up to 25 during peak hiring season)
- Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

- Paid Time Off (0.77 hours per 40 hours worked, up to 40 hours annually)
- Primarily remote position with flexible hours with the greatest need anticipated in the 10am-2pm timeframe.
- May require occasional travel to local events, networking functions, or culinary demonstrations.
