We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help shape the future of McShane Construction.
As a part of our Talent team you’ll do more than just fill positions, you’ll be a pivotal part of our talent strategy, partnering with managers to build high-performing teams and drive organizational success.
Responsibilities:
- Source, screen, and hire highly-qualified candidates for construction, corporate, and administrative roles.
- Manage job postings, coordinate interviews, and ensure candidates have a seamless process.
- Facilitate successful hiring by administering background checks, employment references, and behavioral surveys.
- Work with Senior Talent Acquisition Manager and hiring managers to prepare compelling offers, including salary, incentives, and start dates.
- Build an ongoing pipeline of outstanding candidates for future opportunities by sourcing, screening, and facilitating introductions and meetings with managers.
- Organize and lead campus recruitment and help support college relations.
Requirements
Who You Are:
- You have a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of hands-on recruiting experience
- Your background ideally includes experience in the construction industry
- You’re a pro at sourcing candidates on platforms like LinkedIn and Indeed, with at least one year of active “hunting” experience.
- Your technical skills shine with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, applicant tracking systems, and other recruitment software.
Key Information:
- Full-time, in-office position, with flexibility to meet personal needs that may arise.
- Must live within one hour of Rosemount, IL
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License required.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. required.

The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $80,000. This is a good faith estimate based on available market data; final offers depend on experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and all company-sponsored employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match and profit sharing, student loan assistance, and PTO. We're open to compensation discussions—we invite you to apply even if your expectations differ from the posted range.
