What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Manager - SaaS & Customer Solutions position at MCS Group - USA | Your Specialist Recruitment Firm?
Product / Solutions Manager
Greater Boston | Onsite near Dedham, MA
I'm working with a long-established global business operating across payments, secure technology, digital identity and manufacturing.
They’re looking for someone who can own the product relationship with customers and work closely with Engineering, understanding what clients need, shaping the right solution, and influencing what gets built.
This could suit someone from a traditional Product Management background, but I'm also very interested in speaking with people from Solutions Engineering, Solutions Consulting or Technical Solutions who have worked closely with customers and helped shape product direction.
This is ultimately a Product role, but they're open to people coming from Solutions Engineering or Solutions Consulting if you've had genuine influence over the core product and roadmap.
The Role
You'll work directly with customers to understand how they're using the product, the problems they're facing and the changes or capabilities they need.
From there, you'll work closely with Engineering, UX, Operations and Sales to turn those needs into scalable product solutions.
You could be involved across areas such as:
- Secure payments and card issuance
- Enterprise SaaS platforms
- Digital authentication and identity
- Customer-facing digital products
- Integrations and configurable software
- AI-enabled products and workflows
You'll help take customer needs from discovery and requirements through prioritisation, development, launch and ongoing improvement.
The Right Person
They're open on exact title and background.
You could currently be something like a:
- Product Manager
- Technical Product Manager
- Product Owner
- Solutions Engineer
- Solutions Consultant
- Technical Solutions Consultant
The most important thing is that you've worked directly with external customers using a software product and can show how their problems, requests or feedback have influenced what gets built.
Ideally, you'll have experience with:
- B2B SaaS or other software products
- Working directly with enterprise customers
- Technical discovery and requirements gathering
- Translating customer needs into product requirements or solutions
- Influencing product roadmaps and priorities
- Working closely with Engineering and technical teams
- APIs, integrations or configurable software
- Taking new capabilities from idea through launch
- Balancing individual customer requests with wider product needs
Experience within fintech, payments, card issuance, authentication, identity or financial services would be a big plus, but isn't essential.
A technical background would also be highly valued, particularly if you've previously worked in Engineering before moving closer to customers or Product.
Location
This is an onsite role in the Greater Boston area, near Dedham, MA.
Candidates must already be authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
Salary : $100,000 - $140,000
