Restaurant Equipment Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a dependable, hands-on technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial restaurant equipment. Candidates must have at least one year of experience working on restaurant equipment and a commitment to quality work and safety.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair commercial kitchen equipment, including fryers, grills, ovens, warmers, and other foodservice equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and keep equipment operating efficiently.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and gas-related issues within your training and qualifications.
- Complete work orders and document repairs, parts used, and maintenance performed.
- Communicate with restaurant managers about equipment issues and repair status.
- Keep tools and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of hands-on restaurant equipment maintenance or repair experience.
- Working knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Ability to read equipment manuals and follow repair procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Dependable attendance and good communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between restaurant locations.
- HVAC, refrigeration, or electrical certifications are a plus.
Pay: Based on experience and qualifications.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
