The Pharmacy Quality Specialist/Medical Assistant is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of Pharmaceutical services and patient safety through regular outreach and monitoring programs, medication management processes, and enhancing patient outcomes. The Pharmacy Quality Specialist/Medical Assistant works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and makes a significant impact on the delivery of healthcare services.

In our time of Company growth, we are seeking a Pharmacy Quality Specialist/Medical Assistant.
Work Location: Bradenton, FL.
As Part Of This Role, You Will
- Conduct regular outreach to patients to assess medication adherence and provide education on proper usage
- Collaborate with pharmacists to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Perform patient medication reconciliations to ensure accuracy and reduce medication errors
- Monitor patients' medication therapy outcomes and work on interventions to optimize medication management
- Assist in conducting medication safety audits, including inventory management, storage, and documentation
- Maintain accurate and complete records of all outreach activities and patient interactions
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to promote medication safety and adherence
As part of this role, you will:
- Pharmacy Technician certification preferred
- Registered Pharmacy Technician by the State of Florida required
- Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute Required
- Valid government or State ID
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of medication therapy management and quality improvement principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with pharmacy software
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
