Position: Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics

McPherson Medical and Surgical Associates is a well-established rural health clinic dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare to our community. The clinic is located on the hospital campus with many resources readily available. McPherson Hospital is licensed for 49 beds including Medical/Surgical, ICU, Labor & Delivery, Surgical and Emergency Services including Level IV Trauma designation. In addition to inpatient service the hospital offers state-of-the-art Outpatient Services including full Radiology (X-ray, MRI, CT, Mammography, Sonography, Interventional Radiology), Respiratory Care services including Sleep Studies, Laboratory, Therapy (PT, OT, Speech), Clinical Dietician, Wound Clinic, Occupational Health, and Infusions. 24/7 Emergency Department physician group and hospitalist team support acute care and offer clinic providers support for work life balance. We pride ourselves on our family-oriented environment and our commitment to serving patients of all ages, including obstetric care. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive family medicine services, including acute and chronic care management.
- Perform full spectrum obstetric care, including prenatal visits, labor and delivery, c-sections and postpartum follow-up.
- Participate in OB on-call rotation with other dedicated delivering physicians.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and coordinate patient care.
- Engage with patients and families to promote health education and wellness initiatives.
- Participate in community outreach programs and contribute to the clinic's growth and development.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with clinic policies and regulations.
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine.
- Completed an accredited Family Medicine residency with obstetrics training.
- Current state medical license and DEA registration.
- Strong clinical skills in both family medicine and obstetrics.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
