What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landfill Equipment Operator position at McPherson Area Solid Waste Utiltiy?
Responsibilities:
- Operates heavy equipment, and medium equipment (i.e. forklift, skid steer, bobcat) while processing municipal solid waste which includes baling waste, hauling bales and placing waste in the landfill
- May perform maintenance on equipment.
- Typical work schedule 7 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday
- Will routinely work overtime hours.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- A valid driver's license
- A minimum of 1 year experience with medium or heavy equipment
