Process Improvement EngineerAre you passionate about improving manufacturing processes and driving continuous improvement? We are seeking a Process Improvement Engineer to optimize our operations, develop automation and tooling, and enhance quality, efficiency, and throughput on the shop floor.What You’ll DoYou will lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce inefficiencies, eliminate safety risks, and increase productivity. You will develop automated processes, equipment, and PLC controls to improve quality and throughput. You will design and improve tools, fixtures, and process aids, and create 2D and 3D drawings, SOPs, manuals, and maintenance schedules for production and maintenance teams.You will assist with equipment installation, start-up, and qualification, and support FMEAs, PPAPs, and other quality documentation. Collaboration is a key part of this role—you will work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to implement improvements, share best practices, and promote a safe, efficient, and high-performing work environment.What We’re Looking ForEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Automation Engineering.Experience & Skills:Minimum 2 years of experience with automation PLCs (Allen Bradley or Siemens preferred)Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to read and interpret drawings, technical documents, catalogs, and data sheetsExperience writing reports, documentation, and communicating with internal teams, vendors, and customersFamiliarity with Lean manufacturing principles and process improvementStrong project and task management skills—planning, prioritizing, organizing, and decision-makingProficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and the ability to learn ERP systemsA proactive, improvement-minded mindset and ability to influence teamsWhy You’ll Love This RoleLead improvements that directly affect quality, efficiency, and throughput.Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to deliver real results.Develop automation, tooling, and processes that drive production success.401(k) match, health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, life insurance, and more.Some travel opportunities will be required to support projects and initiatives.On-site — must be able to reliably commute.
