Transcripts from Foreign Universities: Prospective faculty submitting transcripts from foreign universities or schools must have the coursework evaluated for equivalency to United States-accredited coursework by a University-approved agency. The prospective faculty member is responsible for the cost of the evaluation. McNeese typically accepts evaluations by World Education Services (www.wes.org) or Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc.www.ece.org.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Assistant Professors are responsible for teaching 12 hours of coursework, advising, supporting various college initiatives including district partnerships, and completing other duties as assigned.
Additionally, the assistant professor will perform the following responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Lead Site Coordinator to serve three major roles: (1) liaison between the university and partner school districts, (2) instructor for college courses and mentor teacher trainings, and (3) instructional coach for teacher candidates.
- Collaborate with the Department of Education Professions’ Accreditation Specialist on major assessment data collection and analysis requirements to ensure continued state and national accreditation.
McNeese State University, located in Lake Charles, Louisiana, is a public university and a member of the University of Louisiana System.
