Custodian

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team in Grantsburg, WI, 54840. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our facility. Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment in the office and shop offices
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
• Wash windows, mirrors and partitions.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wax floors.
• Shampoo carpets and rugs as needed.
• Assist with setting up and taking down furniture for events and meetings.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the facility meets cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous custodial or cleaning experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and moving equipment.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work evenings or weekends as needed.
