Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to provide exceptional weekend support to individuals in various care settings. Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor and observe patients’ health status, recording vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident’s
to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges - Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and ensuring infection control standards are upheld
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, engaging them in meaningful activities and conversations
Experience
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation, dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and hospice care practices
- Experience with home health or community care services is advantageous
- Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism enhances your ability to deliver personalized support
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training or medication administration are a plus
- Proven ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate patient transfer equipment like Hoyer lifts
- Strong understanding of care plans, medication protocols, vital signs monitoring, and patient safety standards
