Position Summary
- Produce monthly invoices for clients
- Prepare schedules for clients as needed
- Manage accounts receivables/collections for projects, including following up with clients as needed and working with Senior Project Accountants on receivables as needed
- Manages incoming Consultants’ invoices
- Process Consultant Invoices and reconcile Consultants’ Statements
- Select Consultants payment batches
- Prepare analysis as needed for Senior Project Accountants
- In partnership with IT and management, apply technology to automate and streamline the above processes
- Assist the Senior Project Accounting Team in a variety of special projects. (ex. audit related, tax credit related, various miscellaneous firm related reporting)
- Actively engage with the rest of the project accounting team regarding process improvements, team assignments, and communications
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- One to Three Years in a project accounting role, preferably in the AEC industry
- Elevated level of communication skills, including providing customer service to clients, as well as communicating priorities and solutions to internal staff
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge accounting systems
- Excellent time management skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills
- Ability to manage information with an elevated level of detail and accuracy
- Initiative-taking and ability to work independently, as well as a part of a tea
- Experience in an architectural, engineering, or construction firm
- Experience with Bluebeam PDF Revu
- Experience with Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint software
- Experience with ERP system integration
