McMichael Taylor Gray, LLC is seeking a Team Lead for our Foreclosure Title division in our Peachtree Corners, GA office location. The Foreclosure Title Team Lead will assist the Title Manager and Director of Title Operations with coordinating the completion of Title Review and Title Curative processes for all states in which the Firm practices. The Team Lead will regularly confer with our clients, attorneys, reporting staff, and other departments within the Firm, as necessary, during the foreclosure process. The Team Lead will ensure that the actions of reporting team members are properly documented and recorded while maintaining and adhering to the state foreclosure timelines.
Requirements
- Work closely with attorneys to oversee title processes during the Foreclosure action from referral to foreclosure sale
- Ensure adherence to client, state, and federal requirements
- Database entry and tracking of legal documents throughout the review process
- Completion of client systems steps and email updates, to include daily monitoring of assigned workload and assigned team workload
- Communicate with attorneys and processors to update files that are in the title review and/or title curative processes
- Responsible for special projects and reporting required by clients
- Ensure case management files are properly documented with actions taken, correspondence, and explanation of delay, if any
- Monitor and QC any documents merged by the Title Department to ensure the information contained within the legal documents is accurate and meets department quality assurance standards
- Distribute and observe the completion of daily workloads to maintain the Firm SLA
- Monitor and pinpoint file delays and facilitate moving them along in order to preserve client timelines, minimizing financial losses to the firm
Skills/Abilities:
- Leadership skills and experience in leading a team of 3-5 people
- Working knowledge of multistate Title and Foreclosure law and terminology
- Excellent professional communication skills. Position requires interaction with all interoffice personnel, managers and attorneys as well as the clients and outside vendors.
- Proficient with Microsoft Programs including Outlook, Teams, Word & Excel
- Well organized, effective time management, prioritize and allocate workload for optimum efficiency
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality
- Strong work and business ethics; Self-motivated and able to work independently and as a Team Player
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Working knowledge of client systems including Black Knight/LPS, Tempo
- Proficient with case management system mechanics (CaseAware and Perfect Practice), to include thorough documentation of files and completion of daily steps
