Human Resources Generalist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Human Resources Generalist to join our team at MCM Engineering II, Inc. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HR operations, employment laws, and talent management. This role will serve as a critical link between our U.S. operations and our global headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
Hiring / Talent Acquisition
• Manage full-cycle recruitment: job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding
• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop job descriptions and candidate profiles
• Proactively source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and other recruiting channels
• Coordinate and schedule interviews; facilitate feedback collection and hiring decisions
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
• Manage offer process, including compensation alignment, offer letters, and negotiations
• Track and report recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline activity, and hiring effectiveness
HR Operations
• Lead and perform daily, weekly, and monthly HR administrative functions
• Conduct new hire orientation and deliver a smooth onboarding experience
• Administer compensation activities including offer letters, promotions, and salary reviews
• Oversee employee benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k), STD, LTD, FMLA, vacation, etc.
• Serve as the site point of contact for benefits and payroll inquiries
• Provide HR policy guidance and act as liaison to HQ HR
• Support employee relations and advise on policy interpretation and resolution
• Partner with leadership for succession planning and talent development
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local HR regulations
• Operate and update HR systems and policies, including evaluations and pay structure
• Generate reports to meet internal and external reporting requirements
• Lead implementation of talent management systems and governance
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
• 2 years of relevant HR experience
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
• High level of discretion and confidentiality
• Exceptional customer service mindset
• HR software experience preferred (e.g., ADP, Oracle ERP, etc.)
• Korean bilingual preferred
