At McLeod Centers for Wellbeing, we’re looking for a Program Manager-Patient Access who can lead, problem-solve, and keep things moving at the very first step of someone’s recovery journey.
This role sits at the center of it all patients, referral sources, clinicians, and operations an making sure nothing falls through the cracks and every person has a smooth path into care.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing the admissions queue to keep patients moving smoothly through intake and admission workflows
- Tracking and coordinating program start dates while keeping patients, referral sources, and teams informed
- Serving as the go-to person for resolving delays, barriers, or operational challenges
- Monitoring admissions trends and workflows to support planning and improve access to care
- Coordinating consents and required documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Partnering with Patient Access and finance teams on funding verification and payer processes
- Supporting clinicians and admissions staff with administrative tasks tied to assessments and admissions
- Providing daily guidance and oversight to Front Office Coordinators and Admissions Support Specialists
- Collaborating with leadership to identify gaps, improve workflows, and strengthen processes
- Jumping in to support intake clinicians/counselors when needed

What You’ll Bring
You likely have a background in counseling, social work, psychology, addiction studies, or something similar and understand how important timely access to care really is.
You’re organized, thoughtful, and able to manage multiple priorities without losing attention to detail. You’re also someone others rely on for guidance, support, and solutions.
Licensure such as LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or LCAS is preferred, along with leadership or management experience but just as important is your ability to lead with both confidence and compassion.
