Job Overview
We are seeking motivated and skilled Carpenters and Laborers to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Interpret and follow construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, siding, fixture installation, and finishing tasks
- Assist with construction estimating by measuring materials and preparing site layouts
- Perform heavy lifting and material handling to support various phases of construction including concrete forming, masonry, roofing, and water damage restoration
- Install doors, cabinets, moldings, stucco, siding, flooring, tiles, and other fixtures with precision and care
- Prepare construction sites by setting up scaffolding, framing with metal studs or wood framing materials, and fabricating custom components as needed
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to power tool safety protocols and using personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating and interpreting technical drawings such as schematics and blueprints
- Proficiency with hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools for woodworking and carpentry applications
- Experience with wood construction materials including framing lumber, plywood, drywall, and trim components
- Ability to read construction plans accurately for residential carpentry projects such as door hanging or cabinet installation
- Familiarity with woodworking machines and CNC equipment used in fabrication or remodeling tasks
- Knowledge of safety standards related to power tools usage and heavy lifting techniques
- Experience in various construction disciplines such as masonry, plumbing, plastering, rebar installation or roofing is a plus
