We are seeking skilled and dedicated Carpenters to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise carpentry work.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other building materials using hand tools and power tools for woodworking.
- Construct frameworks for walls, floors, ceilings, roofing, and other structural elements following safety standards.
- Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, siding, trim, molding, and flooring with attention to detail.
- Perform restoration tasks including water damage remediation, stucco application, plastering, and rebar installation.
- Operate woodworking machines safely for fabrication and custom woodwork projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of construction phases.
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction and reading blueprints or technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in woodworking and carpentry tasks.
- Strong knowledge of residential carpentry techniques including framing, siding, roofing, and fixture installation.
- Ability to interpret schematics and construction plans while adhering to safety protocols such as power tool safety.
- Skilled in working with various wood construction materials as well as masonry, plumbing, electrical systems, and metal stud framing.
- Experience with heavy lifting, scaffolding setup, concrete forming, tile laying, flooring installation, and drywall finishing.
- Familiarity with restoration industry practices including mold remediation and water damage restoration; experience in the restoration industry is a plus.
