In accordance with established professional and departmental standards and procedures, performs computerized axial tomography procedures on adult patients under the guidance of a radiologist.

Responsibilities:
- Technical knowledge of various diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Demonstrates proficiency in the utilization of all aspects of the department’s radiology information system.
- Accurately interprets and follows physician’s scanning instructions and prescription.
- Uses independent judgment and necessary skills in order to obtain high quality CT images.
- Educates patient on the entire process that the patient will undergo for CT procedure.
- Successful completion from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program with ARRT Certification.
- Certification in CT is highly preferred. Certification in CT through the ARRT is mandatory within one year from date of hire.
- Minimum 2 years as experienced CT Technologist, preferably with Philips experience.
- 3D Imaging experience highly preferred.
- Current Certification in Basic Life Support.
- Venipuncture and Contrast Administration Validation within one month of hire date.
- Ability to work as a contributing member of a highly functioning, cooperative and efficient team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
