The Facility Maintenance Technician at McLane Global is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the facility remains safe, functional, and well-maintained. This includes work on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general building systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and repairing minor leaks
- Inspect buildings, systems, and equipment to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Maintain and repair electrical systems, including outlets, fixtures, and wiring, in accordance with safety codes
- Service HVAC systems, replace filters, and perform seasonal maintenance
- Conduct plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks, replacing fixtures, and ensuring proper drainage
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
- Maintain maintenance logs, records, and inventory of tools and supplies
- Assist in coordinating with external contractors and vendors when specialized repairs are needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Keep all tools and maintenance areas clean, organized, and in good working condition
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is a plus
- 3 years of experience in facility maintenance or a related field
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance tools and systems
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and technical documents
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and perform tasks that require manual labor
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends
- Exposure to various environmental conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.)
