SUMMARY
The Quality Support Technician/Detailer ensures every repaired vehicle is inspection-clean and delivery-ready. You’ll own the final QC and detailing process while supporting shop operations with organization, light maintenance, and equipment care.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Perform thorough interior/exterior detailing before customer delivery
Visually inspect repaired areas; promptly alert the GM or assigned tech to any defects
Assist with general facility and grounds maintenance
Inspect goods/products against quality and safety standards
Help verify test equipment calibration and readiness
Consistently use required PPE, follow hazardous-waste procedures, and join monthly safety meetings
Maintain/detail department tools & equipment; keep work areas organized and return tools/materials to designated spots
Identify opportunities to improve QC processes
Handle daily facility cleaning (mopping, dusting, sweeping, trash; restroom service)
Make minor repairs as needed (e.g., changing light bulbs)
WHAT YOU BRING
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record
Prior automotive experience strongly preferred (not required)
Clear, professional communication and basic mechanical aptitude
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to support changing shop needs and priorities
