The Quality Support Technician/Detailer ensures every repaired vehicle is inspection-clean and delivery-ready. You’ll own the final QC and detailing process while supporting shop operations with organization, light maintenance, and equipment care.

The Quality Support Technician/Detailer ensures every repaired vehicle is inspection-clean and delivery-ready. You’ll own the final QC and detailing process while supporting shop operations with organization, light maintenance, and equipment care.
What You’ll Do
- Perform thorough interior/exterior detailing before customer delivery
- Visually inspect repaired areas; promptly alert the GM or assigned tech to any defects
- Assist with general facility and grounds maintenance
- Inspect goods/products against quality and safety standards
- Help verify test equipment calibration and readiness
- Consistently use required PPE, follow hazardous-waste procedures, and join monthly safety meetings
- Maintain/detail department tools & equipment; keep work areas organized and return tools/materials to designated spots
- Identify opportunities to improve QC processes
- Handle daily facility cleaning (mopping, dusting, sweeping, trash; restroom service)
- Make minor repairs as needed (e.g., changing light bulbs)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record
- Prior automotive experience strongly preferred (not required)
- Clear, professional communication and basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to support changing shop needs and priorities
