E/I Supervisor

McKinley Paper & Packaging WI is seeking a dedicated E/I Supervisor to join our team. The E/I Supervisor will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facility by leading a team of E&I Technicians, overseeing maintenance activities, and supporting both planned and unplanned work. • Lead, supervise, and direct hourly E&I Technicians to ensure safe and effective execution of maintenance tasks.
• Establish and maintain a safe work environment by actively promoting safety as a core value and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental policies.
• Prepare, coordinate, and communicate the Daily Work Plan to the crew at the start of each workday.
• Utilize the CMMS system to manage work order backlog, update maintenance history, and support preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Participate in daily maintenance and production meetings to confirm priorities for scheduled and unscheduled work.
• Develop and improve preventive maintenance routines and support predictive maintenance initiatives to reduce machine downtime.
• Plan and prepare maintenance jobs, including labor, materials, tools, equipment, and procedures.
• Monitor job progress, anticipate potential issues, and provide guidance or assistance as needed.
• Coordinate with operations, other crafts, and staff to facilitate effective work planning and execution.
• Assist with equipment troubleshooting and support project installations and capital/expense projects.
• Conduct safety meetings, training sessions, and ensure ongoing compliance with safety programs.
• Appraise technician performance, recommend training or counseling, and support apprenticeship development.
• Participate in weekend duty rotation and respond to after-hour call-ins as required.
• Complete administrative tasks such as time reporting, purchase orders, work orders, and safety investigations.
• Maintain positive working relationships with crew members, peers, suppliers, customers, and other supervisors.

• Demonstrated commitment to safety and fostering a safe work environment.
• Experience supervising or leading maintenance teams, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation maintenance practices.
• Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs is preferred.
• Ability to participate in weekend duty rotation and respond to after-hour call-ins as needed.
• First responder training is an asset.
