Job Summary: Accepts responsibility, accountability and authority as a unit manager on a 24-hour basis. Utilizes knowledge, methods and techniques pertinent to directing, guiding and assisting nursing management and staff members in fulfilling their responsibilities. Also oversees staff development, house coordinators and staffing office personnel.
Educational/Licensing: Current Oregon RN License. Bachelor' degree preferred. Current BLS certification required.
Qualifications/ Skills: Must have 2-3 years of critical care experience and management experience is preferred. Demonstrates leadership qualities; good communication skills, ability to inspire confidence in others, ability to plan, implement and evaluate change, commitment to promoting growth of others. Ability to perform essential job functions and job specific competencies, critical thinking skills, strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills.
