Position Details:
- Hourly Base Rate: $24.49 - $34.27
- Shift: Day Shift

Job Summary:
- Responsible for day to day operations of the Patient Registration and Communication departments.
- Conducts quality assurance audits per corporate standards of 95% accuracy and daily POS goals.
- Ensures errors are corrected and missing data is resolved prior to billing. Monitors, compiles and trends accuracy and error rates for individuals and department statistics.
- Provides immediate feedback to staff. Coordinates and implements employee training programs.
- Verifies competency of staff.
- Assists to conducts probationary, six-month and annual performance evaluations.
- Maintains applicable policies and procedures as well as department guidelines and reference material.
- Assists in hiring, counseling evaluation, disciplinary and discharge actions.
- Schedules staff, assuring appropriate mix and skill levels.
- Works collaboratively with other departments.
- Assist with AMTELCO supervisory functions for telecommunications.
Education/Licensing:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
- May consider work experience, Medical Office Assistant and/or continued education in the area of Health Care, Medical Billing, Education/Teaching in lieu of degree.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Two years of recent supervisory experience required.
- Experience with hospital or medical claims, registration or front office experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in soft collections preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills including Micro-Soft Office, healthcare related programs and tools.
- Working knowledge of various state and federal regulations related to healthcare industry.
