Role Description: The Training Developer and LMS Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Dallas, TX. This role designs, develops, and updates training materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led content, job aids, and technical documentation aligned with MCIS’s mission-critical operations. The position oversees the Learning Management System (LMS) by creating and managing courses, enrolling learners, tracking completion data, generating reports, and ensuring accurate, timely training records. Daily activities include collaborating with subject matter experts to translate complex data center and construction processes into clear, engaging learning experiences, administering user access and troubleshooting LMS issues, and supporting regulatory and internal compliance training. The role also evaluates training effectiveness, gathers feedback, and recommends improvements to enhance workforce performance and knowledge retention.
Qualifications
- Strong Training & Development and Training skills, with experience delivering and coordinating learning programs in technical or operations-focused environments.
- Proficiency in Instructional Design, including creating structured curricula, e-learning modules, and instructor-led training aligned with adult learning principles.
- Solid Technical Writing capabilities to produce clear, accurate manuals, SOPs, job aids, and other documentation for mission-critical and data center-related processes.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills to interpret training metrics, LMS reports, and learner feedback, and to recommend data-driven improvements to training programs.
- Hands-on experience administering an LMS (e.g., configuration, user management, reporting, content updates) or similar learning platforms.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with subject matter experts, project teams, and leadership across operations and construction functions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple training projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
