Marketing Assistant

Key Responsibilities
Event & Campaign Support
- Assist with planning and promoting firm events such as seminars, workshops, and client appreciation gatherings.
- Manage event-day logistics, including setup, registration, and follow-up communications.
- Distribute marketing collateral including flyers, emails, brochures, and newsletters.
Digital & Content Marketing
- Support social media scheduling and engagement monitoring.
- Help coordinate and promote podcasts, radio segments, and video content.
- Maintain organized archives of marketing materials and campaign assets.
Tracking & Administration
- Track campaign performance and update contact lists and CRM (Wealthbox experience is a plus).
- Communicate with external vendors (e.g., printers, designers, media contacts).
- Assist with internal marketing tasks such as proofreading, formatting, and community outreach initiatives.
Skills & Traits We’re Looking For
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Creative eye for branding and design
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office, Canva or Adobe, and Constant Contact or similar tools
- Familiar with social media scheduling platforms and CRM systems
- Positive, proactive team player who thrives in a dynamic environment
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
- 1–2 years of marketing, administrative, or event coordination experience (internship experience accepted)
- Tech-savvy with experience in tools like Canva, Constant Contact, and Microsoft Office 365
Work Environment
This is an on-site role at our Freeland, MI office.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
