About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at PACE, a leading Health Care Services provider. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be critical to ensuring that our facilities are always in top condition. You will play a key role in supporting our mission to provide the highest quality care to our patients.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
- Certification in infection control or related field
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas, and other designated areas according to established procedures
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel
- Follow all safety and infection control policies and procedures
- Assist with laundry and other housekeeping tasks as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to ensure a positive and welcoming environment
