What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Manager position at McGregor Baptist Church and Careers?
McGregor Baptist Church is desirous of an Accounting Manager with a B.A. in Accounting or similar area of education. The right candidate will direct work of the Accounting Associates, have experience in fund accounting, as well as in processing the full cycle of accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Contributions, General Ledger, Journal Entries, and account reconciliations using computerized church software. Candidate must be organized, detail oriented, and suited to work in a Christ-like environment with an understanding of the need for confidentiality. The right candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Candidate must be able to type at least 45 WPM and able to use a calculator. Will be available to work for the weekly schedule which is Monday-Friday between 8am - 5pm.
