Responsibilities
- Install a wide range of building components including doors, windows, hand railing, sunrooms and screen rooms with precision and care.
- Read technical drawings to ensure accurate installation processes.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and assemble materials such as wood and metal.
- Conduct Construction site clean up.
- Assist with aluminum installation to achieve desired aesthetic results.
- Use heavy equipment when necessary for material handling while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate and resolve on-site challenges promptly.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with construction processes is a plus.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation Is also a plus.
- Knowledge of wrapping windows and doors in trim stock, caulking, installation of windows and doors and carpentry, is highly desirable.
- Ability to read technical schematics accurately for precise installations.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot on-site issues quickly.
