McGill Environmental Systems is seeking a dependable 1st shift General Laborer to support operations at our composting and organics recycling facility. If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and don't mind working outdoors, we want to hear from you.

Schedule
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs. Shift schedules may be adjusted to meet operational demands and company business needs.

Responsibilities
Keep grounds, ramps, screening areas, and shop facilities clean and organized
Perform weed eating, shoveling, painting, and other grounds maintenance tasks
Clean and prepare processing bays and production areas
Assist with equipment cleaning and routine maintenance activities
Support maintenance technicians with repair and upkeep projects
Organize tools, parts, and supplies
Follow all safety procedures, environmental regulations, and standard operating procedures
Maintain accountability for company-issued tools and equipment
Perform housekeeping duties throughout the facility
Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Valid Driver's License required
Previous experience in one or more of the following environments preferred:
Manufacturing
Industrial Facilities
Construction
Landscaping
Agriculture
Recycling Operations
General Labor Environments
Ability to work safely in a production environment
Comfortable performing physically demanding work in an outdoor industrial environment
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Ability to work around dust, dirt, mud, noise, and odors
Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

Pre-Employment Requirements
To be considered for employment, candidates must successfully complete a computer-based pre-employment assessment.
