What are the responsibilities and job description for the GMAW Pipe Welder position at McGee Enterprises, Inc.?
We have a need for pipe welders in a fabrication shop on 1st (7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday) and 2nd (4:00pm-12:30am Sunday-Thursday) shifts with a tentative start date of November 2. However, we'd like to start testing ASAP because we'd need to have weld test results as well as drug test and background check completed prior to start date. Welders will be required to pass 6” SCH 40 6G GMAW carbon steel bend test. Additional test may include 2” SCH 160 6G GTAW stainless (309) bend test. Starting pay will depend on how the coupons look and set by the shop foreman upon completion of test. THERE IS NO PER DIEM PAID FOR THIS ROLE!
