SHIFT SCHEDULE:
- 1st shift Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
PAY RATE:
- $19-23/ hour
RESPONSIBILITY:
Plans, directs and coordinates inventory management in McGard.
JOB DUTIES:
- Develops and implement procedures for ensuring that adequate inventory levels are present.
- Identify and optimize common inventory items.
- Ensure that inventory counts are completed regularly and in a timely manner.
- Research inventory discrepancies and submit accurate inventory and be able to justify the issues.
- Assist in determining the root cause on inventory discrepancies and eliminate repetitive errors.
- Work with steel storage warehouses to inventory steel.
- Arrange for steel deliveries to the various steel locations.
- Develops, evaluates, and improves processes in area of responsibility (AOR).
- Ability to present information effectively in a manner suited to the characteristics and needs of the audience.
- Ability to convey information clearly and concisely either verbally or in writing to ensure that the intended audience understands the information and the message.
- Documents and reports more complex or unique issues and effectively articulates written conclusions.
- Makes determinations based on facts. Identifies problems, reports potential problems, and assesses options.

EDUCATION / SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and orally.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
One to three (1-3) years; related experience in part handling, production control, or supply chain management
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Position requires individual to be capable of traveling & working throughout the entire facility, within reasonable accommodation. The noise level is usually moderate.
