Landscape Maintenance Account Manager

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Commercial Landscape Maintenance Account Manager to lead and oversee landscape maintenance operations for our commercial clients. Duties

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of landscape maintenance for commercial accounts, including lawn care, plant care, hardscape upkeep, and irrigation systems.
• Supervise and lead landscaping crews, providing clear direction, training, and support to ensure efficient operations and high standards of quality.
• Oversee construction projects related to grounds development or improvements, ensuring timely completion within budget.
• Conduct site inspections to assess landscape conditions, identify plant health issues, and recommend appropriate horticultural solutions.
• Operate or oversee the operation of company vehicles and grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
• Manage irrigation systems including installation, repairs, adjustments, and seasonal shut-downs to optimize water use.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, client communications, equipment maintenance, and project progress.
• Foster positive relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service, addressing concerns promptly, and offering landscape enhancement suggestions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations during all outdoor activities.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of lawn care techniques, landscape maintenance practices, and horticulture principles.
• Proven supervising experience with team management skills to motivate crews effectively.
• Strong plant identification skills to diagnose issues and recommend appropriate treatments.
• Experience managing construction projects related to landscaping or grounds development.
• Proficiency in operating grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, irrigation tools, and hardscape tools.
• Ability to operate company vehicles safely while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols.
• Knowledge of tree care practices, gardening techniques, irrigation management, hardscape installation/maintenance, and outdoor work safety procedures.
• Leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to coordinate teams and liaise with clients confidently.
